You reach the nearest beach in only 10 minutes. If you want to go to Fort Myers or Sanibel Island it is only 30 minutes away with the car – here you have miles of beaches and a turquoise sea – the Gulf of Mexico.
The beaches recommended by those who live there: Siesta Key Beach, Naples Beach, Barefoot Beach and Lovers Key If you go down to The Yacht club there is a beach there. The water may be brown due to the mangrove trees but it is possible to swim. You will also find a small playground for the children and a barbecue area. There is also a restaurant that usually has live music in the evening, a tennis court where you can rent racks or they sometimes lend out if you have children with them. Great down there!
